Dr. Caruso is a Presidential Scholar who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, in 2018. He graduated with clinical honors from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
He completed training at various externships, including Eye Centers of South Florida, Boston Medical Center, Providence VA Medical Center, and South End Community Health Center.
Dr. Caruso is a primary care optometrist with years of experience doing practices in the capital region. He specializes in comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases.
Additionally, he is an expert in fitting hard-to-fit contact lenses, including scleral contacts for patients with irregular or post-surgical corneas.
