
Meet Dr. Mark Hite at EyesNY

Mark Hite, M.D. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care including cataract surgery, refractive cataract surgery, including premium lens options, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, and retinal disease, including retinal laser surgery.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Hite joined Glens Falls Eye Associates in 1993 and was one of the first surgeons in the area to perform refractive surgery, and no stitch, topical anesthesia cataract surgery.
Dr. Hite completed his ophthalmology training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he acted as chief resident. He earned his medical degree from Northeastern, Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1989 graduating with honors. He holds an undergraduate degree from Kent State University.
Dr. Hite is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and New York State Medical Society. He is Chairman of the Board of the New York Eye Surgery Center and also on staff at Glens Falls Hospital and is a former chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology.
